Move with breath. Breath initiates the movement of Vinyasa.
In vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to other with rapid or slow motion. We move together to support each other using Ujjayi Breathing. It is done by inhaling and exhaling in a rhythmic manner through the nose. Vinyasa practice is dynamic and generates heat by adding a cardiovascular component. Vinyasa is about harmony and balance, grace and fluidity.
